Dragoman has been in the adventure holiday business since 1981 and their heritage goes back forty years. They are the leading overland operator today. They run truck-based adventure travel trips, carrying groups of travellers to exotic destinations on four continents: Africa, Asia, North and South America. They have a fleet of thirty-five Dragoman and Encounter overland trucks around the world and are based in Suffolk.
In 1999 Dragoman took a policy decision to minimize disruption and maximize the benefits that their visits bring to local communities.

Not your everyday journey
Dragoman has been taking people on authentic overland experiences for over 40 years. All trips are truck-based, with camping, hotels and homestays. The spirit of Dragoman is that it’s as much about the journey as the final destination.

Dar es Salaam to Nairobi is a 16 night Family Adventure in east Africa camping and staying in hotels on a adventuorus east Africa safari to see the Kenya Rift Valley, Tanzanian wildlife, Swahali coast and Zanzibar. The 13 Jul 08 dpearture costs £1395 per person.
The Caucasus and Trans Caspian is a 25 night overland voyage of Georgian discovery, starting in Ashgabat in Turkmenistan and finishing in Istanbul, staying in homestays and camping in the wild. The 28 Sep 08 departure costs £955 with a kitty fund of 720$ per person.
Trip prices do not include international travel.
