Holiday News: French Travel Service Launch New Belgian City Breaks By Rail
On the train, everyone's a 'speedy boarder'.
High speed rail breaks are here to stay. At least that’s what French Travel Service believe. To back that they are extending their city-break programme beyond France to other European countries. First stop, Belgium.
Of particular interest are 4-star hotel breaks at prices which won’t damage your wealth. Here are a few examples of two-night packages:
Brussels – Hotel Bloom! is one of the city’s most chic designer hotels, situated in the Rue Royale and overlooking the Botanical Gardens. From £182; extra night £45.
Antwerp – Hotel Residence is a warmly hospitable hotel just a short walk from the historic city centre. From £176; extra night £42.
Ghent – Ghent River Hotel is a stylish conversion of a Renaissance house and warehouse, with a prime riverside location. From £198; extra night £53.
Bruges – Hotel Aragon offers genuine 4-star distinction in the heart of the medieval city. From £235; extra night £71.
Prices include travel by Eurostar (and onward connection where applicable) plus 4-star accommodation with buffet breakfast. It is possible to combine two or more destinations into the same trip. Two- and three- star hotels are also available according to destination. Full details are on the website.
