itinerArY dLLJ - day 1 Arrive Livingstone - Arrive in BOTSWANA Khama Rhino Sanctuary Livingstone at any time. day 2 Katima mulilo (B,L,d) - Depart the Livingstone area, and travel overland through Zambia, crossing Pilanesberg NP into the Caprivi Strip region of neighboring Namibia, home to 450 S O U T H Johannesburg A F R I C A animal and bird species that travel freely across the border from Chobe National park in Botswana. day 3-4 Bagani (2B,2L,2d) - Continue through the Caprivi Strip to Ngepi camp on the Okavango river. Along the way keep an eye out for any elephants who call the strip home. Take a cruise down the Okavango river in search of hippos and other river life! day 5 maun (B,L,d) - Cross into Botswana and journey along the western part of the Okavango Delta, the world's largest inland delta, to the regional capital of Maun. Take the optional flight with some fantastic views high over the Delta, searching for antelope, elephant, and wildebeests! day 6 Khama rhino sanctuary (B,L,d) - Journey to Serowe, where we will visit the Khama rhino Sanctuary, a community based wildlife project to assist in saving the endangered rhino, and restore the area to is previous natural state. day 7-8 pilanesberg Game reserve (2B,2L,d) Travel to pilanesberg (National park) game reserve, the crater of an extinct volcano. Enjoy a game drive in search of Africa's Big 5. day 9 Johannesburg (B,L) - Travel to Johannesburg, the largest city in South Africa. Optional excursions to Soweto or the Apartheid Museum are recommended. day 10 depart Johannesburg (B) - Depart Johannesburg any time after 8am.
