Things you need to know...
Reservations Centre Opening Times
Lines are open to take your calls on 0844 815 9090 from Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm. Over bank holidays times may vary. Calls to 0844 numbers are charged at 5p per minute from a standard BT landline. Calls from mobile networks may vary according to your tariff.
Health Club
If you are staying at a hotel with a health club then this entitles you to membership of that club throughout your stay. A condition of using the facilities is that you must comply with club rules, a copy of which is available from the club reception. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and cannot use the facilities after 6pm except on Friday, Saturday and Sunday when they can use the pool until 8pm. For health and safety reasons children under 16 are not permitted to use the gymnasium and children under 12 are not able to use the sauna, spa bath or steam room. At times certain facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather or other reasons out of our control. We will attempt to keep you fully informed however this may not always be possible. If availability of leisure facilities is a significant reason for your hotel choice of hotel, you are advised to check in advance. Please note that there may be a small local charge for the use of some facilities.
Bookings
All offers of accommodation and other services contained in this brochure are subject to availability, as there is a limited allocation of rooms available to this programme. Bookings must be made prior to arrival at the hotel. The right is reserved to decline bookings. You cannot combine any special offers or prices in this brochure with any other special offers, promotions or programmes offered by or through Jarvis Hotels Ltd. No two special offers can be combined on the same booking.
Payment
Jarvis Hotels Ltd accepts the following methods of payment credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club; debit cards: Visa/Delta (please note debit cards may only be used as a payment method in line with the rules of the card issuer). Cheques are not accepted.
All Inclusive Breaks
All Inclusive Breaks run from 6pm on Friday until 6pm on Sunday. All food and drink ordered must be for the consumption of the guest, this is not transferable. All food and drink must be consumed in the designated areas and from the selection on offer. Room service is not included. Drinks included in the package are draught beer, lager, house selection wines and soft drinks served with your meals and in the bars. The maximum permitted party is six adults and all members must be over 18 years of age.
Prices
Ramada Jarvis's pricing policy ensures competitive daily rates and enables you to make greater savings by booking in advance. All Ramada Jarvis Short Breaks prices described in this brochure are per room per night, based on single or double occupancy, and include full breakfast. All rates are subject to availability. All prices quoted include VAT at 17.5% (any changes to the rate of VAT will be passed on).
Murder Mystery and Special Interest Breaks
Murder Mystery and Special Interest Breaks are defined as any break which includes additional entertainment or entrance to external attractions or events in addition to accommodation and meals. If for any reason we need to cancel any leisure break we will inform you in writing at least 14 days prior to the start of your break and we'll offer you the choice of continuing with your break, giving you a full refund or will transfer you to an alternative date.
Best Flexible Rates
These prices offer you excellent value and the option to change your plans any time before 2pm on the day of arrival. The Best Flexible Rates described in this brochure are a guide because these rates are subject to change on a daily basis. At the time of booking you will asked be to guarantee your booking with a credit or debit card but you can cancel your reservation any time up to 2pm on the day of arrival, after 2pm a 100% cancellation fee will apply. There is no minimum stay requirement.
Access for All
We understand that every customer has different needs and we aim to make our hotel facilities available and accessible to all our guests equally. In rare instances where this is not possible we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative. Our hotels offer a range of facilities for guests with a perspective on disability including: * Designated car parking, accessible entrance, accessible WC, accessible bedrooms * Menus available in large print * Induction loops * Assistance dogs welcome Please advise us of any access needs at the time of your booking on 0844 815 9090
2-night Saver
Can only be booked within 3-20 days of arrival. Prices are based on a two-night minimum stay. Additional nights are subject to availability. Full pre-payment required at the time of booking. Bookings are non-changeable and payments are non-refundable.
21-day Saver
This special rate is suitable for guests who are certain of their travel plans and can book 21 days or more in advance. Full pre-payment required at the time of booking. Bookings are non-changeable and payments are non-refundable. There is no minimum stay requirement.
Hotel Events
Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year some of our hotels may host weddings, events and parties, which you may feel, would be an intrusion on your break. Please contact the individual hotel for further information.
3-course Dinner
If you include a pre-booked 3-course dinner with your Short Break, you will save £5 per person per meal. The £5 dinner saving applies to the 3-course Table d'Hôte (TDH) menu* (if you choose to dine A la Carte a £20 or £22* per person allowance will be made). * Full dinner (TDH menu) price will be £20 or £22 depending on your hotel choice.
If you have a problem
In the unlikely event that you have a problem during your stay you must bring it to the attention of the management at the time, to ensure that we have an opportunity to rectify it. If you are not satisfied that the issue has been resolved, please submit the details in writing within 28 days of your return to the Customer Relations Department, Jarvis Hotels Ltd (see below for address).
Children
Up to two children under the age of 16 can enjoy free accommodation when sharing a room with paying adult/s (offer subject to availability of suitable rooms), paying only for meals as taken. There is a limited number of suitable family rooms available in the hotels and children staying in their own room pay the full adult room price. Some hotels may not be able to accommodate a family of four in one room and an upgrade may be required at a supplement. For children sharing with their parents breakfast is free for children under 10 years, half the adult price for children 10 - 16 years.
Your security
In certain circumstances the Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tour Regulations 1992 may cover your holiday. If this is the case and your holiday or any part of it is prevented from taking place, by reason of insolvency of Jarvis Hotels Ltd you will be entitled to a refund of monies (or an appropriate amount of those monies) paid by you in accordance with security payments Jarvis Hotels have made for your protection. Details of these security arrangements are available on request from the Customer Relations Department (see below for address).
Arrival and Departure
Your bedroom will usually be available from 2pm on your specified day of arrival and will be guaranteed for your first night when we have received payment. On your day of departure we would ask that you vacate your room by 12 noon (unless stated as part of your booking e.g. All Inclusive breaks - Sunday 6pm departure). If you would like a Sleepy Sunday check out at 2pm please ask the Reception Team as you check in - Sleepy Sunday late check out is subject to availability. Otherwise you may be subject to a charge for an additional night's stay.
Brochure information
The information in this brochure is believed to be correct at the time of going to press (February 2008). Parking
Many of the hotels have their own car park, which is usually free (while resident). However, some hotels may have limited spaces available and/or charge a parking fee. Please check individual hotel entries, contact the hotel or check the website for details.
